Challenge:
The Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District (BID) provides place management services that assist in creating a neighborhood that is clean, safe, accessible, unique, friendly, and vibrant. The Capitol Riverfront Bid engaged Seaberry Design to design and provide an editorial map for its 2018 Annual report—highlighting BID achievements and documenting the growth of the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood.
Approach:
The Seaberry team wanted the unique, friendly and vibrant nature of the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood to be evident not just in the images that were used but in the layout, graphics and text that would accompany them. They paired photos with exciting, vibrant colors, and alluded to the neighborhood's waterfront location through wave and water inspired graphic elements and shapes. Full pages devoted to graphics and timelines also gave readers the ability to really sink into the data in the report and get excited about the development of the area.
Colorful. Cultured. Creative.
